Takshashila Progressive English School is an IB PYP Candidate School* for the Primary Years Program. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy - a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that Takshashila Progressive English School believes is important for our students.

IB Mission Statement

Takshashila's History

Takshashila Progressive English School (TPES) was founded on 2020 by a dedicated group of entrepreneurs and educationists with a shared vision of delivering progressive and holistic education. The school was established with the aim of creating a dynamic learning environment in Nepal that harmoniously blends global educational standards with deeply rooted cultural values. Inspired by the ancient seat of learning, Takshashila, the institution was envisioned as a centre for nurturing leadership, innovation, and service to society. Over the years, TPES has grown into a vibrant educational community where academic excellence and personal transformation go hand in hand, empowering learners to become confident, responsible, and globally minded citizens.
